A step-by-step look at how all the parameters of Grand Piano regulation affects each adjustment step. This highly commended class has been given on four continents. It will help take the mystery out of the regulation process, and help to fully understand how the action is designed to work.
Virtually everything we do when regulating whether on a vertical or grand piano either affects, or reveals itself in, the Jack. When we come to a note with an issue, if we understand Jack we can quickly diagnose what needs attention, and then quickly correct it. Handouts include the regulating sequences, with a Quick Reference Guide to Jack.
This class will focus on the goals of regulation and how to fulfill them in the least amount of time. Covered will be how to make the piano work best within normal specifications, which tools to buy and which procedures to follow to insure the best results.
